Rainbow Chickens is looking for a skilled individual to join the Engineering Team as Artisan Assistant in the Mechanical department. This position is based at our Worcester Processing Plant, Western Cape.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum Grade 12
Minimum of 1 year experience in a mechanical/electrical maintenance environment
Good working knowledge of machinery
Good numeracy and literacy skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to work shifts/overtime/standby as per operational requirements
Punctuality and Attendance reliability
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance in the mechanical workshop
Diagnose and repair minor faults
Repair, adjust and replace failed or faulty component parts
Ensure work environment is always in a clean and neat condition
Adhere to health and safety
