Rainbow chicken Artisan Assistant (Mechanical) x 3  Worcester

Purpose of the role:

• The Chicken Business is currently recruiting for 3 x Artisan Assistants in the Engineering Mechanical team to be based at the Chicken Processing Plant in Worcester (Western Cape).

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum Grade 12

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a mechanical/maintenance environment.

Required Knowledge and Skills: 

• Good working knowledge of machinery.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work shifts/overtime/standby as per operational requirements.
• Punctuality and Attendance reliability.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Perform routine maintenance in the mechanical workshop.
• Diagnose and repair faults.
• Repair, adjust and replace failed or faulty components.
• Ensure work environment is always in a clean and neat condition.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations.
