We are searching for Diesel Electrical Fitter Apprentices to train at our Training Centre based at our Rail Services Hub in Rosslyn, Pretoria. The candidate should have matriculated with Mathematics, Science and English and have 52 related trade subjects. The apprenticeship IS valid for three years following which the candidate will be QCTO assessed as a Diesel Electric Fitter (artisan). The ideal candidates mil have a passion for engineering and a sound knowledge of the rail industry.
APPRENTICE, DIESEL ELECTRICAL FITTER (ROSSLYN, PRETORIA)
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: • Matric with Mathematics, Science, English
• N2 related trade subjects
• Preferably be between 18 to 25 years of age
• Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Mechanical or Technical Engineering/Diesel or Electric Fitting (advantageous)
• Previous experience within the rail/transport industries (advantageous)
• Basic MS Office, MS Excel and MS Word • Knowledge of various parts and systems
• Must have a solid work history and contactable references
• Communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing)

• Attention to detail
