To assist a qualified artisan in the maintenance of all machinery and equipment within the AFGRI Animal Feeds business unit.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12
- 1-year practical maintenance experience within a feed factory environment
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Assist with maintenance tasks, provide recommendations for repairs or replacements, and ensure machine availability.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic working area, clean tools, and store them properly.
- Adhere to scheduled working hours and work overtime as needed.
- Follow safe working procedures, wear PPE, report unsafe conditions, and comply with safety regulations.
- Monitor and prevent food safety risks, maintain cleanliness, and adhere to cleaning programs.
- Participate in HACCP team activities, adhere to bio-security programs, and ensure tools and work areas are clean.
