Applications are being accepted for the above-mentioned position, which will be based in Secondary Production, Springs. The chosen applicant will report to the Unit Manager directly and indirectly to the Packaging Engineer.
ABILITIES:
Understanding of wiring diagrams
Reading and comprehending electrical drawings in an industrial setting
Methodical fault finding/detection and normal maintenance of electrical motors, pumps, control panels, and distribution boards
Excellent working understanding of sensor control, VSD, HMI, switchgear, AC motors, relay logic, temperature controllers, industrial instrumentation, and other related technologies.
Basic knowledge of PLC input/outputs
Repairs manufacturing gear, including on-site electrical work
Adhere to all safety procedures, rules, and laws – complete OHS Act compliance
Outstanding housekeeping
Active participation in mini-business operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
Electrician with a Matric and a Trade Certificate
3-5 years of relevant experience in the FMCG electrical/automation area
Working knowledge with bottling machines is a definite benefit.
S7 and high-speed machines are both familiar to you.
Must be self-motivated, imaginative, and capable of working independently or with minimal supervision.
Help with company improvements, operational objectives, and segment goals.
Capable of working and coping under pressure, as well as making judgments when necessary
Have excellent communication abilities on all levels.
Must be responsible and punctual – follow Distell Values
Strong problem-solving and fault-finding abilities, as well as understanding of numerous problem-solving approaches
