POSITION DESCRIPTION:

A Solar PV Technician is needed by our client in Cape Town to join the team that installs solar energy systems.

 

Minimum Conditions:
Requirements
a minimum of three years’ experience plus in solar PV systems.

Prior experience with Victron and SMA equipment is required. Required: familiarity with pertinent SANS and NRS regulations
inspection and commissioning of solar PV sites, both new and old
solar site electrical connections
designing and evaluating new solar locations
identifying the source of issues with an electrical or electronic component
upkeep of solar systems
Solar training that is fundamental or advanced, such as PV Driving license with a Code 8 or Code 10 and a Green Card or P4
computer literate having a working knowledge of networks.
