Duties & Responsibilities
Role purpose:
Ensure that all machines are working efficiently as was designed to meet the company needs and expectations. Certain upgrade projects will also need to be looked at and identified by the individualRequirements

- Trade test qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Millwright OR N3/N6 Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or higher qualification
- Knowledge or experience of working in a production environment particularly in FMCG
Duties
- Installation and commissioning of machines to conform to design standard specifications.
- Perform machine diagnostics.
- Servicing and maintenance of machines.
- Provide conceptual & strategic solutions to solve problems.
- Writing of reports and compiling of data regarding identified existing and potential machine problems.
- Carry out upgrades both electrically and mechanically on all machinery within the company
- Solve complex problems with machine solutions or upgrades.
- Drafting of work instructions and adhering to appropriate policies and procedures.
- Operate in a safe manner at all times, and identify and highlight unsafe work practices so that these may be corrected
