Introduction

Komatsu South Africa has an opportunity for an Assistant Artisan with at least 2 years’ experience working on Heavy Earthmoving Equipment to join our team at White River. Applicants from the immediate area will get preference.

 

Qualifications:

Matric/N3 Certificate.

 

Experience:

2 – 3 years’ work experience working on earthmoving machines.

 

Duties and responsibilities:

Required to work overtime and standby from time to time and must be prepared to travel when needed.

Assist the artisan in all aspects.

Must be safety orientated as machine movement and component movements are present.

Must have some knowledge on basic tools and the purpose of tools used.

Ability to work under pressure.

Team player.

 

Specific knowledge requirements:

Some knowledge of tools and machine repairs.

Good communication and inter-personal skills.

Valid driver’s license.

Have a passion for Heavy Earthmoving Machinery.
