Job Description:

Some of the key responsibilities for this role include:

Conduct safety meetings and Risk Assessments

Reporting on safety and deviations and record results of all legal examinations

Achievement of safe production performance levels through the effective maintenance, installation and commissioning of equipment

Manage breakdowns and emergencies as well as Planned Maintenance

Ensure that material, spares and equipment are available as required and job cards are fully completed

 

Qualifications:

Please attach the following qualifications with your application:

Grade 12 and Technical Trade Specific N2

Electrician Trade Certificate

High or Medium Voltage Certificate will be advantageous

 

Experience:

1 to 3 years’ post trade experience

Smelter or processing will be advantageous

 

Knowledge and Skills

Must be able to work shifts, do standby and overtime

Must be familiar with risk assessments procedures

Basic Computer Skills
