Wegrades in the world of naturally occurring zircon, ilmenite, rutile, magnetite
We are seeking to appoint experienced Artisans within the above-mentioned trades, who will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, overhaul and modification of plant infrastructure and inachinery used in the processing plant.
Key areas of responsibility and duties 1
• Ensure that daily preventative maintenance schedules are earned out.
• Ensure daily planned, unplanned and breakdown work is completed.
• Participate in planned maintenance shutdowns.
• Identify reoccurring equipment failure and conduct route cause analysis.
• Conduct technical evaluations of equipment.
• Ensures that costs are maintained, and waste of materials is kept to a minimum. • Complies with and supports the Company’s SHEQ rules and procedures,
Minimum qualifications and experience requirements
• NTC 2 in specified trade
• Qualified artisan (Red Seal)
• 2-3 Years’ experience as a qualified Artisan.
• Experience within the mining industry would be advantageous.
• Code B Driver’s License
• Physically fit— must be able to obtain a medical certificate of fitness issued by the Company’s appointed Occu-pational Medical Practitioner
• Clean Criminal !Record. Required Skills • Ability to consider numerous sources of information to make a decision,
• Pays attention to detail.
• Communicate in writing and verbally in English and Afrikaans. •
Have a “can do attitude “towarcis your work.
• Problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimum Slipervision.
• Ablity to work under pressure.
