Job Description
RCL FOODS Milling is embarking on an apprenticeship programme and we invite suitable candidates to embrace this opportunity by applying. We are looking for young, dynamic, self-motivated individuals who will be able to work independently to join our Milling division that is based in malelane. The successful candidate will be responsible for fitter machinery maintenance (Including MV & LV), preparation of Design Drawings: AutoCad drafting of Fitter and Turning construction documents and site investigations: Attend project site investigations to document existing electrical systems and equipment.
Minimum Requirements
In order to be considered for selection, candidates need to be in possession of a Grade 12 with at least a N3 qualification or NCV level 4. N4 and above qualification will be an advantage.
Successful candidate needs to be self-driven, can work with less supervision and have leadership skills

Mathematics
Engineering science
Duties & Responsibilities
Cutting of die and id blanks
Cleaning and sharpening of dies and id’s
Setting up of dies with id’s
Cutting of sponges for dies
Record keeping of dies and id’s
Assist with measuring sanding gauges, measuring plates
Assist with fabrication, cutting, welding and fitting as per project identified – for example, manufacturing of material stands, fitting
Welding – general
Pipe fitting
General mechanical work
General Fabrication
Required as per job cards, safe and satisfactory to the issuer of the job card
General repairs, replace bearings, grease bearings, fit rollers – as per job card requests
