ARTISAN ASSISTANT (WITBANK)

Description
PURPOSE
To assist in ensuring safe efficient maintenance
RESPONSIBILITIES
Do general and maintenance/repairs.
Attend pre-shift meetings
Report unsafe conditions and -behaviour.
Adhere to FAMP and client policies and procedures.
Assist the artisan with maintenance tasks e.g. change panels and sieve bends/cutting of skirting
Inspect all equipment/tools and default reports in area of responsibility.
Report all faults and problems to artisan.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Grade 12 or N3
EXPERIENCE
At least 2 years’ experience in mining or construction and related to engineering & maintenance
SKILLS, QUALITIES AND ABILITIES
Good communication skills (verbal & written).
Physically fit to do the work.
Emotional intelligence
Listening skills
Visibility on site.
GENERAL REQUIREMENT
Fitness certification
