Why this is a valuable Fitter apprenticeship
The training is particularly relevant to someone wanting a career in industrial maintenance/manufacturing, because it goes beyond basic fitting and exposes the apprentice to mechanical maintenance, pneumatics, pumps, transmissions, utilities, lubrication, welding and production machinery.
The 3-year duration also aligns with the typical structure of a formal artisan apprenticeship, although the exact trade qualification and trade-test arrangements should be confirmed from Fibertex’s official advert.
