To effectively maintain the company’s electrical system by coordinating, completing, and monitoring all electrical and general maintenance tasks across the organization.
Responsibility & Tasks
Planning projects, proactive maintenance, and reactive maintenance
must make sure that all of the processing plant’s equipment is in good working order so that manufacturing can go as efficiently as possible.
examining the location
regularly checks plant systems and equipment performance to reduce unplanned downtime,
anticipate issues, deal with them quickly, and seek out possibilities for growth.
Be accessible when there are plant outages and keep an eye on things.
locating problems, performing tests, and removing or adjusting current installations and components.
ordering of all replacement electrical parts.
Ensure that electrical spares are ordered correctly.
keeping an eye on electrical Inventories in the storeroom
Be willing to accept requests for work to be completed.
Make sure that starting up is done correctly and safely.
Report all malfunctions to the maintenance supervisor.
Ensure that every piece of equipment in every area is in good operating order.
Must be willing to put in extra time and be available for calls as needed to fulfill the position’s requirements.
examines, fixes, and keeps up electrical distribution systems, such as those that operate electric motors, fire alarms, and clocks.
Follow all OHS policies and guidelines
any additional acceptable tasks that may occasionally be requested by your superior (Omnibus Clause)
desired qualifications and experience
4–5 Years of Electrician Maintenance Experience
A year or two of management experience
Certificate of Electrical Trade
complete understanding of electrical theory
