JOB DESCRIPTION:
In order to join their operations in Midrand, Gauteng, our client in the engineering industry is looking to hire an electrical field service technician.
responsibilities:
Write up reports for the customer and maintain accurate records of repairs and refunds.
Creating and submitting warranty claims
Document any warranty claims.
Telephone assistance for clients
Support for clients on-site
technical assistance for internal sales
Evaluation of issues with certain equipment applications
Commissioning
When required, address commissioning or breakdowns on the spot.
ability to go after hours, across borders, and away from home
assistance with the organization and storage of spare parts
the management of the service center
Maintain ISO standards and, where needed, assist with client bids
Ad hoc tasks as directed by the manager
Requirements:
Minimum Matriculation
Having a N3 or National Diploma, an electrician or technician is qualified: Engineering in Electrical
at least three years of expertise with control systems
Electronic and/or pneumatic experience with control systems
Excellent people skills and written communication abilities. MS Office computer literacy.
