ADVERTISEMENT DRILL ASSISTANT— BELFAST COAL (VACANCIES x 13)
Pioneer Drill & Blast (Ply) Ltd. is a drill & blast contractor servicing Ritluka (Pty) Ltd. The vacancies are based at Belfast Coal (Exxaro).
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING)
• Assist Drill operator to execute all drilling activities.
• Responsible for cleaning and measuring holes.
• Assisting mechanics on routine maintenance.
• Meeting good housekeeping standards.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Blasting Assistant Certificate and Driver’s license will be advantageous.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain a Certificate of fitness (Red Ticket).
• Must have a minimum of at least one (1) year of service In the Opencast Mining Environment.
PREFERENCE
• Preference will be given to the applicants from host communities and its subsequent farming communities.
