We are looking for a suitable Hotel Receptionist, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, to provide an efficient Front Office service to all our guests.
responsibilities & duties:
The tasks of the qualified applicant will comprise but not be restricted to:
using the firm’s internal booking system, Protel, to provide visitors with a prompt, courteous, and professional front desk experience while abiding by corporate regulations and procedures;
ensuring that brochures, rate sheets, and maps are nicely displayed and that the hotel reception space is clean, organized, and tidy;
All visitors’ check-ins and check-outs must go without a hitch and must be handled quickly and professionally;
ensuring that all visitors are welcomed and accommodated in a timely, courteous, and pleasant way and responding satisfactorily to any inquiries from or complaints from visitors;
ability to conduct a night audit;
ensuring that every inquiry and request for a quote is handled promptly and in accordance with corporate policy and practice;
Desired Experience & Qualification:
At least 2 (two) years’ experience as a Receptionist at a hotel is required.
Computer literacy is required.
A working grasp of Property Management systems is required.
Experience with hotels is desirable.
Reservations are advantageous.
Previous Night Audit experience is advantageous.
