Description

My client is a leader in the Tissue Paper manufacturing industry requires the services of a Maintenance Electrician to be based at our Converting Factory in Kempton Park.
This position is responsible and accountable for all operations. The following must always be ensured:

 

Role and Responsibilities

locating faults in different electrical machines, including callouts and after-hours failures.

Perform instrument fault analyses, scheduled maintenance, and loop checks.

proactive in analyzing and looking into reoccurring electrical issues to keep equipment improving

efficiency and dependability.

Maintain the panels, drawings, and manuals for the instruments.

Fill out the relevant motor checks and work cards.

Basic knowledge of Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC programming.

As directed by the foreman or engineer, make sure that planned maintenance, work orders, projects, and breakdowns are executed promptly and professionally.

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

a Senior National Certificate

Have a Red Seal Certificate and be an electrician by trade

a minimum of 5–10 years of certified electrician experience

Good credit and no criminal history

N3–N6 trade tested certificates with the Red Seal should be in procession.

a thorough knowledge of AC drives, with the ability to identify faults mostly in Siemens, Parker, and Allen Bradley brands

a grasp of PLCs and the ability to identify faults in Siemens, Brands Allen Bradley

Relevant Courses in Siemens and Allen Bradley Software (e.g., TIA portal, Pcs7, Step 7, Rs Logix 5000 etc.)

Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills

powerful analytical problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Calibration expertise is necessary

prior work experience in the tissue sector.
